Sachse’s new 12,000 square foot Central Fire Station is part of the City’s new municipal campus. The Fire Station contains four drive-thru engine bays, sleeping quarters for twelve fire fighters, officer living quarters, day room, dining room, training facilities, and various other support areas.

Although it is basically a stand-alone building, the Central Fire Station is connected to the new Public Safety Building by a shared physical fitness center. Fire Administrative and the Emergency Operations Center is housed in the adjacent Public Safety Building
