Joyce Florist is a long established, well known, business in Oak Cliff. Since the 1950’s, Joyce Florist has been one of the leading florist in Oak Cliff and South Dallas. Their existing facility, a former Dairy Mart, had become detriment to their business. In addition to not providing adequate useable space, the building suffered from severe roofing and foundation problems. After considering their options, the Owners decided to replace the existing run-down building with a new structure.

The project included two new buildings - the florist shop and an event center. The new facility was designed to resemble pavilions that could be found in a market place. The building materials include vertical ribbed metal siding, glass, and metal roof panels.
